Highlights
A firm protested the Department of the Treasury's rejection of its bid as being late, arguing that a bid acceptance extension failed to indicate an hour on the revised acceptance date. GAO has held that, when an extension fails to include a specified time, the hour remains as stated in the initial solicitation and, since the protester's bid was delivered after that time, it was properly rejected as late. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
