Highlights

Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO reviewed a proposed change to a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) concerning employee fringe benefits. The change involved limiting the allowable costs of compensated personal absences to amounts determined by using only the wage rates in effect at the time of initial entitlement. GAO informed the FAR Secretariat that it had no objections to the issuance of the change.
