[Congressional Request for Information on Sale and Purchase of Two Airports]

Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO addressed questions pertaining to the sale of an airport by San Bernardino County, CA. GAO stated that the county could sell the airport, provided that: (1) the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration approved the transaction; and (2) the proceeds of the sale were used to further public airport activities.
