[Comments on Revised Proposed Amendment to Federal Procurement Regulations]

Pursuant to an agency request, GAO commented on a revised proposed amendment to the Federal Procurement Regulations which would implement recommendations made in a GAO report. The proposed sources-sought synopses invite firms to furnish information concerning their capabilities and state that firms which respond to the synopses may request a copy of the solicitation when it becomes available and that qualified firms will receive a copy. GAO commented that the synopses should clearly state that prospective offerors should respond to the synopses with a request for the solicitation.
