Request for Reconsideration of Claim for Increase in Contract Price

A firm requested a reconsideration of a prior reconsideration in which GAO affirmed its original decision. The decisions involved the requester's claim for an upward adjustment of its contract price because of a mistake in its bid discovered after the contract award. GAO twice denied the claim because it found that the contracting officer properly performed his verification duty in advising the firm of the discrepancy between its bid, the Government estimate, and other bids. The requester presented no evidence to demonstrate any error of fact or law in the prior decisions. Accordingly, those decisions were affirmed.
