An agency requested relief for some of its employees from liability for a loss of funds. The agency determined that a cashier and her alternates were without fault or negligence in causing a loss of cash funds which occurred while they were acting in the discharge of their official duties. GAO concurred with the agency determination, and relief from liability was granted to the employees as requested.
