Highlights

An employee of the Department of Labor claimed that she had performed duties at a higher grade after her former supervisor was reassigned. The employee contended that she performed the duties of her former supervisor for a period of almost 2 years. The claim was denied. Since the employee was not officially appointed to the higher-graded position, she had no legal right to increased pay.
