Highlights

A company protested denial of its request to postpone bid opening for an invitation for bids issued by the Army Corps of Engineers, charging that the wage rates included in the solicitation were excessive. The protester anticipated modification of the existing wage rates by the Department of Labor (DOL). Based on assurance by DOL that no modification was imminent, the Army decision against postponement was reasonable and consistent with the applicable provisions of procurement regulations. The protest lacked legal merit and was summarily denied without further case development.
