Request for Contract Modification To Remedy Alleged Clerical Error in Bid Price Preparation

A company requested reformation of a contract due to a mistake in its bid which was first noticed after the contract award. Since the sole responsibility for preparation of a bid rests with the bidder, the bidder must bear the consequences of an error unless the mistake was mutual or the contracting officer was on actual or constructive notice of error prior to the award.
