Highlights

A company requested the reconsideration of a decision which dismissed its protest as untimely. The protester contended that its protest was not objectively reviewed on the merits and that the specific issues raised should be considered since they were significant to procurement practices and procedures. Procedures do permit consideration of untimely protests where issues are of widespread interest; however, nothing was presented by the protester to warrant this exception. The company essentially reiterated the facts and arguments previously submitted and the request for reconsideration was denied.
