No Valid Basis for Reconsideration of Untimely Protest

A company requested reconsideration of a prior decision which dismissed its protest as untimely, contending that the protest should have been considered on merits because it raised issues of widespread interest to the procurement community. GAO found nothing in this case to warrant invocation of an exception to bid protest procedures, and the previous decision was affirmed.
