Highlights

A contractor requested that its contract be rescinded because of a mistake in the bid caused by a misunderstanding involving two different construction projects. Although the responsibility for preparation of a bid rests with the bidder, the Government estimate was in error, and the bidder was not asked to verify its price. The contract award was rescinded.
