Claim for Overtime Compensation

An employee appealed denial of his claim for work performed outside of duty hours, including holidays, nights, and Sundays. The employee is entitled to overtime pay for activities outside duty hours since the performance of the activities was induced by an official with the authority to approve overtime. He is entitled to overtime compensation for work on holidays but, since night and Sunday duties are not recurring, he may not be paid Sunday and night premium pay.
