Legislation To Provide Improved Employment and Training Services

The Senate Committee on Human Resources requested that the General Accounting Office comment on S. 2570. This bill would amend the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 to provide improved employment and training services, to extend the authorization, and for other purposes. The Committee may wish to deal with some of the points raised by modifying the proposed bill or may wish to allow the Secretary of Labor to administratively handle them.
