Extension of Time Limitation for Beginning Return Travel from Overseas Post

An advance decision was requested concerning a retiree's request for an extension of the time limitation for beginning return travel and shipment of household goods to the United States from an overseas post. The employee, who had delayed return travel more than 7 years in spite of regulations stating that such travel may not begin later than 18 months after separation, cannot be granted further time extensions since regulations granting certain exceptions are not applicable.
