Employee Reimbursement for Loan Origination Fee

A response was requested to questions concerning reimbursement of a transferred employee's real estate expense for a loan origination fee. The employee cannot be reimbursed for the fee since it was stated as a lump sum and was considered a finance charge. A former decision allowing for reimbursement of charges in loan origination fees under certain conditions was overruled but is to be applied prospectively only.
