Transportation of Household Goods and Weight Limitation

A decision was requested as to whether an employee can be reimbursed for shipment of household goods weighing in excess of the maximum amount applicable to employees without immediate families because the employee's mother lives with her for part of the year. The mother was not a member of the employee's household at the time the employee reported to the new duty station; the employee was considered "without immedite family" and subject to the weight limitation.
