Request for Reconsideration of Claim for Backpay

An employee appealed the denial of his claim for backpay for serving in a position which was later reclassified upward and for a period during which he served in a lower grade as a result of a reduction in force. The employee was not entitled to backpay for wrongful position classification. Claims concerning improper pay reductions because of reductions in force are for submission to the Civil Service Commission.
