An advance decision was requested concerning reimbursement of expenses in connection with an employee's transfer. Expenses of renting a "U-Haul" trailer were not allowed because the cost of transporting the mobile home was allowed in lieu of paying for the shipment of household goods. The employee can be reimbursed for the cost of preparing the mobile home for shipment and for reassembling at the new duty station. The cost of purchasing new tires to satisfy the purported requirement of Washington State law was not an allowable cost. Reimbursement for the cost of a flat tire on the mobile home was not allowable, since it was considered as a repair to the mobile home. (SW)
