Claim for Reimbursement by Accountable Officer

The Director of the Office of Finance and Accounting, Department of Housing and Urban Development, requested an advance decision on whether an employee was entitled to reimbursement for a voluntary replenishment made from her personal funds to cover an imprest fund shortage. The employee's request for relief was not considered by the agency because of a lack of evidence that the loss had occurred. The employee may not be reimbursed.
