Reconsideration of Denial of Request for Increase in Contract Price

A small business requested reconsideration of a decision denying its request for an increase in contract price because of an alleged mistake in the bid. The former decision was affirmed because: the low bid was verified prior to award, the contracting officer was not required to question the competence of the bidder's president who represented the firm at the bid verification meeting, the mistake as to requirements of the contract was unilateral and not mutual, and the circumstances precluded a finding of unconscionability.
