Waiver of Foreign Post Differential Overpayment

The Administrator, Drug Enforcement Administration, requested a review of the denial of an employee's claim for waiver of overpayments of foreign post differential. Due to administrative error, the employee continued to receive the Saigon, Vietnam, 25 percentdifferential after his transfer to Bangkok, Thailand, where the differential was 10 percent. The erroneous payments were shown on the employee's earnings statement, and he was partly at fault for the overpayments since he knew the differential should have been reduced. The denial was sustained.
