Highlights

An Authorized Certifying Officer of the Department of Justice requested a decision concerning the legality of paying for security services furnished by the Boston Police Department during rental of two buildings. Payment may be made in one case since the controlling local agency made security services a condition of rental. Payment for services at the second building may be paid if it is determined that the same charge would have been imposed on any citizen in like circumstances. (SW)
