Transportation of Mobile Home

Ronald L. Carter, an Authorized Certifying Officer of the Bureau of Reclamation, requested an advance decision concerning the computation of the allowance for the transportation of a mobile home. The size of the mobile home required taking a route longer than the distance between the old duty station and the new one. The employee may not receive full reimbursement for the moving based on the mileage actually used for transporting his mobile home because it exceeded the maximum amount permitted under the regulations.
