Availability of Funds Appropriated to the Judicial Branch for General Services Administration Interagency Motor Pool Vehicles

The Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts requested a determination as to whether funds appropriated to the judicial branch were available to pay for the use of General Services Administration Interagency Motor Pool vehicles. Appropriations of the judicial branch are available for this purpose since the purchase or hire of passenger vehicles for the assignments in question is specifically authorized in existing legislation.
