Reconsideration of a Disallowance of Reimbursement for Real Estate Expenses

An attorney for a Federal employee requested reconsideration of a decision disallowing a claim for reimbursement of real estate expenses incurred prior to employee's transfer, and sought to challenge an adverse witness. GAO is not authorized to hold adversary hearings to obtain sworn testimony. Disallowance of the claim was affirmed since expenses were incurred before the agency intended to transfer the claimant.
