Unpaid Compensation Due at Death

Highlights

An employee's daughter claimed the compensation due an employee at his time of death. Disallowance of the claim was sustained because the final divorce decree between the decedent and his wife was vacated by a court prior to his death. The employee was, therefore, still married at date of his death and payment of unpaid compensation to his wife was proper in absence of designation of beneficiary.
