An advance decision was requested regarding the entitlement of a transferred employee to reimbursement of certain expenses incident to the sale of his residence at his old duty station. The employee, who departed his old station prior to the sale of the residence, was entitled to reimbursement of expenses incurred for long-distance telephone calls and telegrams directly related to the sale of his old residence. He was not entitled to reimbursement of expenses for photographs of his new residence since this expense was not customarily paid by the purchaser of a new residence in the locale of his new home.
