Highlights

An advance decision was requested with regard to an employee's claim for reimbursement of mileage costs from his residence to his official duty station and back for voluntary overtime on non-regular work days. There was no authority to reimburse an employee for mileage for traveling by a privately-owned automobile between his residence and duty station on non-regular work days to perform voluntary overtime even though transportation was irregularly scheduled between those locations on non-work days.
