Highlights

A contractor requested reconsideration of the denial of its claims for payment for pies and plates allegedly delivered to several Navy vessels between 1969 and 1971. The claim was denied because it appeared that the company had failed to claim payment until 1974, subsequent to the destruction of agency records, and because it had not furnished satisfactory evidence of delivery and nonpayment. The denial of the claim was sustained because the claimant failed to produce clear and satisfactory factual evidence to support the claim.
