Highlights

An advance decision was requested regarding a claim for reimbursement of certain legal expenses incurred in the purchase of a residence incident to an employee's transfer of duty station. The employee was reimbursed for legal fees incurred for preparation of the sales agreement but, believing the sales contract faulty, he retained an attorney who made certain revisions in the agreement. Since the retention of counsel was duplicative of the legal services already reimbursed, the attorney's fee may not be reimbursed.
