Highlights

The protester objected to the termination of its contract for default and to the refusal of the agency to award it the reprocurement contract. Protests regarding the termination of the contract were matters of contract administration and not for consideration by GAO. The defaulted contractor cannot be awarded the reprocurement contract at an increased price. There was no basis to conclude that the agency's denial of bid correction was unreasonable since the evidence did not clearly and convincingly establish the existence of the mistake of the intended bid. The offer of the defaulted contractor, who was the low bidder on the reprocurement, to voluntarily reduce its price to that of the defaulted contract price in order to be eligible for award may not be accepted since the bid was not the otherwise low acceptable bid.
