Claim for Personal and Dependent Travel to Selected Place of Retirement

An Army member whose claim for personal and dependent travel from his last duty station to New Orleans, Louisiana, his indicated place of retirement, was disallowed claimed personal and dependent travel to Salina, Kansas, contending that Salina was his home of selection for retirement. Neither the member nor his family, from whom he is separated, has established residence at Salina. The member may not receive payment of travel or transportation allowances to Salina.
