Highlights

Following a favorable disposition of the same issue in the Court of Claims, an employee requested reconsideration of a decision denying his claim for overtime compensation for time spent in a standby status. During his time on standby status, the employee was severely limited in movement, restricted in activity, and in a state of ready alert. The degree of restriction involved in the standby duty entitled him to overtime compensation.
