Claim for Temporary Quarters Allowance

A decision was requested regarding an employee's claim for an additional 10 days subsistence while occupying temporary quarters incident to a permanent change of station. The employee had been authorized subsistence while occupying temporary quarters for a 10-day period, and the request for the additional 10 days had been orally authorized by his superior. Since administrative approval of the extension of the time would have been granted if the administrative office had not inadvertently delayed action on the request for additional time, there was no objection to allowance of reimbursement for the additional 10 days claimed.
