Protest Against Cancellation of Solicitation

The protester objected to the agency's decision to cancel a request for proposals. The solicitation for kits to be installed on trucks was properly canceled because it was determined after the deadline for the submission of proposals that it was in the Government's interest to have the kits installed by the vehicle manufacturer in the course of vehicle assembly.
