Reimbursement of Transferred Employee's Title Insurance Expenses

Reimbursement of a transferred employee's title insurance expenses was questioned. The employee received a reduced rate on the purchase of the lender's title insurance policy since it was purchased in conjunction with the owner's title insurance policy. Reimbursement of an amount equal to the charge for the lender's policy if purchased by itself was allowable since the amount equals the charge for the mortgage title insurance premium plus a portion of the owner's policy allocable to the title search.
