Costs of Excess Weight of Household Goods Shipped

A member requested reconsideration of the disallowance of his claim for reimbursement of an amount collected from him for the cost of excess weight in a shipment of household goods incident to a change of station. He may not be reimbursed since excess weight is an administrative determination which is not questioned by GAO unless there is clear evidence of error.
