Highlights

An advance decision was requested regarding an employee's claim for reimbursement of various expenses incurred in the transportation of his mobile home incident to a permanent change of station. Reimbursement of the employee's miscellaneous expenses incurred in moving the housetrailer was limited by the Federal Travel Regulation which provides that an employee is entitled to an allowance for actual miscellaneous expenses if he can present acceptable evidence justifying the expense claimed, provided that the aggregate miscellaneous expense allowance may not exceed 1-week basic pay in the case of an employee without an immediate family.
