Request for Reformation of Contract

The contractor requested reformation of its contract, alleging that a mistake in its bid had been caused by a mathematical error made by a subcontractor. Since the mistake in bid was alleged after award, no reformation of the contract was granted because the mistake was unilateral and the contracting officer was not on actual or constructive notice of the mistake in the bid prior to award.
