Highlights

The protester objected to the award of a contract, alleging that the price bid by the successful offerer was so low as to be unprofitable. The allegation provided no basis to object to the award since the fact that the offerer might sustain a loss in the performance of the contract did not justify rejection of an otherwise acceptable offer and since there was no allegation of fraud on the part of the contracting officer.
