Highlights

A decision was requested as to whether a relocation allowance claim filed by tenants vacated from a building to be used by the Senate, could be paid. The tenants, who qualified as displaced persons as defined in the section 101(6) of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, were entitled to all benefits of section 204(2) of the act for which they were otherwise eligible even though they elected to purchase replacement housing together with a person not qualifying as a displaced person.
