Request for Contract Rescission Because of Alleged Bid Error

A company requested rescission of its contract because of an erroneous underbid allegedly caused by a faulty subcontractor quotation. The request may not be granted since the contracting officer was not on constructive notice of mistake in bid, nor was there an obligation to seek bid verification where all six bids followed a normal upward progression and four bids were priced below the government's estimate.
