Trade and Development Program's Use of Representation and Entertainment Funds to Pay for Meals

The Agency for International Development requested a decision on whether the Trade and Development Program (TDP) could use representation and entertainment (R&E) appropriations to pay for meals served at interagency briefings. GAO held that TDP could use R&E appropriation to pay for the meals, since the briefings were representational in nature.
