Comments on Government Employee's Liability for Parking Tickets

GAO commented on federal employees' liability for paying parking tickets incurred while on official business. GAO held that government employees were personally liable for any parking meter or traffic fines incurred while on official business unless there was evidence that indicated that the fine was imposed for actions of the government over which the employee had no control.
