Review of Methods Used To Provide Telephone Service To Military Housing Occupants

GAO reviewed the Department of Defense's (DOD) compliance with laws regarding telephone services on military installations, focusing on: (1) methods used to provide telephone service to military family housing occupants; (2) why different policies and procedures exist within military departments; and (3) the economy of the methods of providing phone service.
