Comments on Preventing Duplication of Retirement Payments

GAO commented on preventing the duplication of retirement payments. GAO held that in order to prevent duplicate payments, concurrent payments should not be started or changed by either the Veterans Administration or the military services until a waiver has been obtained or adjusted and a mutually effective date had been established.
