Comments on Propriety of Using Appropriated Funds for Ambulance Services

GAO commented on a company's claim for payment from the Air Force's Aeronautical Chart and Information Center's appropriated funds for ambulance services rendered to a civilian employee. GAO held that the: (1) employee's health insurance company was responsible for payment of the ambulance services; and (2) payment could not be taken from the Information Center's appropriated funds.
