Try Our Beta Search
The Beta Search is your chance to "test drive" our new search engine and provide us feedback.
Specific features include:
- Narrow results by topic along with other "facets" like agency, source and format.
- Sort results by Relevance, Date or Alphabetically.
- See 10, 25, or 50 results per page.
- Get improved results for report numbers.
- Use Boolean Operators: AND, "+", OR, NOT and "-". (Note: Boolean operators must be ALL CAPS).
- Use Advanced search to
- Find any of these words
- Find exact wording or phrase
- Find one or more of these words
- Make newer content more relevant with date boosting
- Only show results where your search words are in the title, description, body, URL of the results page, or anywhere on the results page.

How to Get to the Beta Search
When you use the search box from anywhere on the site, the results are currently from the old search. Use the Beta Search link (under the Search box next to "Advanced search" link) to try the Beta Search. The results you see are based on whatever you already typed in the search box. Try the many new features to further narrow your results and find what you are looking for, or change your search terms to look for something else. Return to the old search with the "Back to Old Search" link.
