Budget Management
Budget staff are involved in formulating and interpreting policy, as well as producing and justifying GAO's budget. Budget staff also provide guidance and assistance to managers and staff on budgetary matters.
To perform their work, which involves a variety of administrative functions, budget staff require knowledge of business and industry practices related to forming and preparing federal budgets.
